Rowena has a BA in Law and French from Keele University, and qualified as a trade mark attorney in 1993.
Rowena’s early career in trade marks was spent mainly in London where she trained and qualified
with leading trade mark practices. She has also worked for solicitors gaining litigation experience.
Rowena is fluent in French, which is useful with regard to International and European trade mark
matters. Rowena has considerable experience in advising a broad range of clients and in developing
and managing their trade mark portfolios. Rowena’s experience extends to dealing with contentious
matters including oppositions and cancellation proceedings before the UK Trade Marks Registry and
the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
